Food Hack: Fancy Puff Pastry Cups

Easy recipe!


Ingredients:


1 Sheet of Puff Pastry


Tools Needed:

2 Non-Stick Muffin Pans

Rolling Pin

(This recipe is designed for large muffin, but can be adapted to smaller sized muffin pan)

Oven safe fry pan

Cookie Sheet


  1. Pre-heat oven to 400F

  2. Unfold puff pastry.

  3. Cut into four squares.

  4. Roll out each square so they get just a little bigger, appx. 1/2 inch bigger.

  5. Turn the muffin pan upside-down.

  6. Use each piece to cover a muffin and press the dough snuggly against it.

  7. Turn the other pan upsdie-down as well and place over the first muffin and lightly press down.

  8. Put oven-safe pan over the muffin pan to weight it down.

  9. Bake for 15 minutes and then remove from oven.

  10. Remove cups from muffin pan and on cookie sheet, open-side-up and continue baking 5 to 8 minutes or until slightly dark golden brown.

  11. Let cool before using.

  12. Fill with ice cream, eggs, fruit, etc...
