1 1/2 Cups All Purpose Flour
4 Tablespoons Brown Sugar
1/4 Teaspoon Salt
3 Teaspoons Baking Powder
1 Teaspoon Baking Soda
2 Teaspoons Powdered Milk
1/2 Teaspoon Ground Cardamom
1/4 Teaspoon Nutmeg
1 1/2 Cups Buttermilk
2 Eggs
Step 1:
Combine all dry ingredients except for brown sugar and mix until well incorporated.
Step 2:
Combine buttermilk and brow sugar until sugar is dissolved, then add eggs.
Step 3:
Mix dry and wet ingredients together until just combined. Be careful not to over-mix. You want some lumps.
Step 4:
Heat pan to medium high heat or a griddle to 375F. You can make any size pancakes you want, but I used a 1/3 cup measure to ladle the batter. Cook until some of the bubbles start to pop, turn and cook until browned.
I recommend my Bourbon Cream Maple Syrup for these pancakes. See the link below.
